100X Tools is a collection of free browser-based tools for everyday file tasks. Merge PDFs, compress images, remove backgrounds, and more — all running entirely in your browser.

Most online tools ask you to upload your files to their servers. We believe that is unnecessary. Modern browsers are powerful enough to process files locally, which means your data never has to leave your device.

Privacy by design

Every tool on this site processes files directly in your browser using WebAssembly and client-side JavaScript. We have no server-side processing. Your files are never uploaded, stored, or tracked. We literally cannot see your data.

How it works

The tools use modern web technologies like WebAssembly, ONNX Runtime, and the Canvas API to process files locally. For AI features like background removal, neural networks run directly in your browser using WebAssembly. The models are downloaded once and cached for instant subsequent use.
